- Required : Minimum 2 years' experience in performing Echocardiograms OR candidates with AS degrees and 6 months experience may be considered.
- Required : Credentialed with ARDMS as an RDCS or RDMS.
POSITION SUMMARY
Performs a range of highly specialized cardiac ultrasound investigations, utilizing a range of advanced techniques including pulsed and continuous wave Doppler, color flow mapping and tissue Doppler imaging.
Produces tracings of heart electrical activity by setting-up electrocardiography (ECG) equipment; attaching electrodes to chest and equipment; operating and adjusting equipment; recording cardiac data and measurements; protecting and helping patients.

B. Qualifications / Experience
Minimum 2-years experience in performing Echocardiograms. Candidates with less than two (2) years of experience will be considered with AS Degree legal completion and at least 6 months experience.
Credentialed with the American Registry for Diagnostic Medical Sonographers (ARDMS) as an Registered Diagnostic Cardiac Sonographer (RDCS) or Registered Diagnostic Medical Sonographer (RDMS) required. Candidates that are Registered Cardiac Sonographers (RCS) through Cardiovascular Credentialing International (CCI) and have 5 years of experience performing Cardiac Solography will be considered in lieu of ARDMS Certification.
