Job Summary
The Nursing Supervisor oversees the clinical practice and patient care delivery in a 12-hour shift. This leadership role is accountable for hospital personnel on duty, ensuring regulatory compliance and professional standards.
Main Responsibilities:
- Supervise staff to deliver quality patient care and evaluate their performance.
- Collaborate with Care Management and Medical Staff to improve quality, service levels, safety, and customer satisfaction.
- Maintain current knowledge of regulatory requirements and industry best practices.
- Serve as a role model for patient satisfaction and resource person for Hospital Policies & Procedures.
- Oversight of agency employees and human resource policies.
- Participate in Quality and Performance Improvement Plans to monitor patient care delivery.
- Organize workflow, solve problems, and motivate employees.
Requirements:
- Bachelor of Sciences degree in nursing (or BSN completion within 5 years).
- Minimum of five (5) years of clinical nursing experience in an acute care setting.
- Maintain Current California Nursing license and basic computer skills.
- Bilingual skills preferred (Spanish).
