We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Patient-Centered RN to join our EmPATH team at Martin Luther King, Jr. Community Hospital.
This is a dynamic role that requires the ability to provide high-quality, individualized care to patients with mental health needs. As a member of our team, you will have the opportunity to work collaboratively with physicians and other healthcare professionals to deliver exceptional patient care.
Responsibilities:
- Evaluate patients for suicidal or homicidal tendencies and develop plans to ensure their safety.
- Provide nursing care to patients with mental health conditions, including those who may be unstable or experiencing psychosis, anxiety, or depression.
- Collaborate with physicians to determine the need for admission to a higher level of care and develop plans to meet patients' needs.
- Document patient care, including assessments, implementation, evaluation, and follow-up.
