What To Expect
Martin Marietta is seeking a Yard Loader/Weighmaster to join our team. The ideal individual will be safety conscious, dependable, and motivated. This individual will be responsible for safely and efficiently operating a Yard Loader and maintaining the quality of product stockpiles. The Yard Loader operator will maintain safe working speeds and promote site safety by asserting leadership of truck drivers onsite.This individual will also be responsible for safely and efficiently performing cross-functional duties in plant maintenance, production, and equipment operation. This individual will be responsible for accurately weighing and ticketing customer trucks. Hours are 7 am - 4 pm including weekends as necessary.

- Operating the yard loader within the company guidelines and safety standards
- Operating an automated scale and related computer software program to generate customer tickets
- Performing pre-shift safety inspection on equipment and reports needed repairs to the supervisor
- Ensuring safe operations around conveyors, surge piles and crushers
- Performing daily preventative maintenance - tire pressure, oil, grease, diesel fuel, hoses for leaks and all moving parts for proper function
- Maintaining the quality of product stockpiles
- Maintaining safe traffic flow throughout the site
- Aiding in the training of co-workers as needed
- Performing other duties as assigned by supervisor
- Possess a High School Diploma, GED or equivalent experience to perform the responsibilities associated with this position
- Have experience in the maintenance and operation of mobile equipment, construction equipment and/or equipment used processing plants
- Have experience in the operation and maintenance of a front-end loader (preferred)
