Martin/Martin, Inc. is looking for a mid-level civil engineer to join our Civil Engineering Group in our Bentonville, Arkansas office. This mid-level engineer will work on a broad range of project types. This position will focus in the Northwest Arkansas market but will include opportunities to gain experience in Commercial and Residential Development.

Lastly, our investigative engineers are pivotal in supporting ongoing projects by planning and implementing repairs, renovations, and improvements for buildings and sites. With nine office locations and a staff of 370, Martin/Martin engineers regularly perform work across the United States and internationally.
A typical work week can include engineering calculations, drawing development, city and client meetings, site visits, etc... Projects are typically in Northwest Arkansas but can sometimes take us nationally, offering the opportunity to travel. This position allows for interactions with owners, architects, contractors, etc. early in your career along with opportunities for marketing activities.

Examples Of Responsibilities
- Coordinates our work with in-house teams and other firm’s project teams
- Develops, monitors, and manages work plans, schedules, and design budgets
- Keeps clients satisfied and developing a skillset to address client management challenges.
- Opens projects, establishes budgets, and submits information to accounting team. Follows project close out process
- Manages engineers and CAD/BIM technicians to complete projects
- Manages small to medium projects or portions of large projects
- Serves as the primary point-of-contact with clients and contractors
- Participates in production and technical committees or other special projects to advance the company’s goals
Requirements
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS
- Registered Professional Engineer
- BS plus a minimum of 4 years of progressive engineering experience (MSCE/MSAE counts as 1 year)
DESIRED QUALIFICATIONS
- 18 months experience as a Professional Engineer
- Instills confidence in supervisors and clients through effective communication and technical skills
- Ability to design, detail, coordinate, and model small to medium size projects within time and budget constraints
- Experience communicating and working with clients, jurisdictions, and colleagues
- Experience following multiple engineering projects from start of design to completion of construction
- Demonstrates time management skills needed to plan and execute projects
- Demonstrates strong commitment to continued professional development
- Participating member of professional and/or technical societies
