As a Sales Manager with the Central Coast Collection, you'll have the exciting opportunity to represent six fantastic properties along California's beautiful Central Coast, including four oceanfront properties and two amazing downtown Paso Robles properties. Your role will be crucial in identifying and engaging with qualified target accounts while nurturing long-standing client relationships. You'll play a key part in closing high-value group business, helping to meet and exceed sales goals across metrics like Revenue Nights (RNs), Average Daily Rate (ADR), revenue, and F&B.You'll have the opportunity to manage a dynamic range of sales activities, including outside calls, sales trips, trade shows, site visits, fam trips, and more, all tailored to your designated territory and market. Let's grow together!Work HoursWill be required to work flexible scheduled shifts based on business needs.Scheduling may include holidays, nights and weekends depending on travel and trade show schedules and hotel events.Job RequirementsMust have excellent hospitality sales skills from rapport building to closing business to following up to close their next group meeting.Must be able to identify client's primary buying criteria and personal goals quickly and accurately; then be able to sell to those needs.Must be creative in client approach, creating proposals, planning and conducting wow sites inspections, and closing / stealing business.Must possess excellent communication, follow-up, and organizationalSets high personal performance standards and enjoys keeping track of individual and team progress toward goals.Must be proactive and have a creative, positive, and focusedStrong leadership skills and the ability to apply them in a dynamic environment.Work cohesively with co-workers and all departments as part of a team.Build morale and promote positive employee engagement.Follow all appropriate policies and procedures while constantly striving to improve standards of operations.Essential Job DutiesExceed established monthly, quarterly, and annual targeted sales goals.Maintain an active list of target accounts to ensure continuous relationship development.Establishes new client relationships and maintains existing relationships to maximize revenue.Actively solicits new business opportunities through prospecting target client lists.Seeks methods to penetrate key business activities within the market and finds profitable ways to bring this business to the hotel.Respond in a timely manner to incoming group sales opportunities that are within pre-defined parameters.Work collaboratively with other sales channels (e.g. on-property resources) to ensure sales efforts are coordinated, complementary, and not duplicative.Capture and close the best opportunities for the property based on market conditions, the property's needs, and within the hotel parameters.Execute and support the operational aspects of business booked. Transfer accurate, complete, and timely information to the Events department in accordance with hotel and brand standards.Follow all additional duties as assigned by management.Salary $80K to $90K DOE We are an Equal Opportunity Employer.
