Summary: As a member of the Martin’s Family, an Auto Body Detailer assists Auto Body Shop and Vehicle Maintenance by performing the tasks below and other assigned tasks, i s committed to the company mission statement of doing “Whatever it takes, God helping us”, and assists the Vehicle Maintenance Department with the responsibilities assigned and listed below.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities : include the following. Other duties may be assigned.
Cleans trailer interiors .
Cleans and buff s exterior of company vehicles .
Cleans interior and upholstery of company vehicles .
Step van swaps and roll runs .
Sand and soda blasting .
Disassembly of vehicles to prep for painting .
Decal removal .
Assembly of vehicle after paint .
Apply bed liner to tailgates and step van bumpers .

Education and/or Experience:
High School Diploma or GED ;
Prior experience or training.
Language Skills:
Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence, and memos. Ability to write simple correspondence. Ability to effectively present information in one-on-one and small group situations to customers, clients, and other employees of the organization.
Mathematical Skills:
Ability to add and subtract two digit numbers and to multiply and divide with 10's and 100's. Ability to perform these operations using units of American money and weight measurement, volume, and distance.
Reasoning Ability:
Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out detailed but uninvolved written or oral instructions. Ability to deal with problems involving a few concrete variables in standardized situations.
