Logistics Support Administrator

Summary :

As part of the Martin’s family of employees, the Logistics Support Administrator will assist the Logistics department with administrative and daily tasks to include the support of key functions within the Logistics department.This individual must be able to handle time sensitive information, have great organizational skills, and be able to multi-task / be flexible to handle changing duties throughout the day.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities : include the following. Other duties may be assigned.

• Provide administrative support to the Logistics team.
• Verify shipping cost to invoices.
• Scans, verifies, and uploads Bill of Ladings to various systems.
• Close orders and ensure documentations are accurate and uploaded.
• Research timing on detention claims and report back if valid or not
• Approval of trip runs
• Auditing invoicing report to ensure everything is invoiced per period.
• Assists in running reporting’s from our ELD system relating to DOT compliance and safety.
• Adheres to safety, food safety, quality and Good Manufacturing Practices regulations.
• Performs other duties as assigned.

Education and / or Experience :

Language Skills :

Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence, and memos.Ability to write simple correspondence.Ability to effectively present information in one-on-one and small group situations to customers, clients, and other employees of the organization.
