What are the responsibilities and job description for the 2nd Shift Kettle Cooked Chip Fryer/Sanitation position at Martin's Snacks?
SUMMARY
Ensures a quality product by operating the kettle cooked chip fryer and helping to maintain a clean work environment.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following. Other duties may be assigned.
- Responsible for frying the kettle-cooked chips.
- Inspects peeled potatoes before frying.
- Inspects finished potato chips.
- Cleans machines, conveyors, walls, and floors.
- Cleans with high pressure, water, caustic and acidic chemicals.
- Sweeps and cleans up picnic, parking lot and other outside areas.
- Recognize problems with equipment or product and reports to management.
- Operates popcorn line.
- Operates forklift as needed.
- Follows proper safety practices and procedures as a routine duty of position.
- Fills in for other related positions as needed.

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE
- High school diploma or general equivalency diplomas (GED) and;
- Three to six months related experience and/or training or;
- Equivalent Combination or education and experience.
