Key Responsibilities
- Assemble & Install Harnesses
- Build wiring looms from scratch or adapt donor components using prints, schematics, and harness boards
- Route, secure, and integrate harnesses into vehicles, test cells, or standalone rigs
- Quality & Safety
- Crimp, solder, torque, and heat-shrink to IPC/WHMA-A-620 or equivalent standards
- Perform continuity, resistance, and hipot tests; document and remedy any non-conformities
- Troubleshooting & Innovation
- Diagnose wiring faults with multimeters and CAN tools; propose robust corrective actions
- Collaborate with engineers and senior techs to improve designs and build methods
- Workspace & 5S
- Maintain an organized, safe, and confidential work area; follow all EHS procedures
- Process Improvement
- Recommend tooling, fixture, and workflow enhancements that boost quality and reduce cycle time
