What are the responsibilities and job description for the Retail Store Clerk position at Martin Wine Cellar?
Seeking a Store Clerk with open availability to fill various schedules at our Baton Rouge - Moss Side Lane location. Our store is open 6 days a week; no late nights. Availability on weekends is required. We will work with college students and their schedules.

Store Clerk Responsibilities:
● Managing transactions using a cash register
● Verifying customer age for alcohol purchases
● Bagging purchased goods and assisting customers with carry-outs
● Stocking and fronting shelves
● Assisting with incoming and outgoing deliveries
● Providing customer assistance by phone and in person
● Assisting with gift wrapping
● Maintaining the overall organization and cleanliness of the store
Store Clerk Requirements:
● High school degree and one year retail or stocker experience preferred
● Experience with Point of Sale (POS) systems and cash registers
● Exceptional customer service skills
● Ability to lift and carry wine/liquor boxes (approximately 40 pounds)
● Louisiana ATC-approved Responsible Vendor Card (may be obtained after hire)
