Compensation:
- Base Rate: $22.00 - $23.50 per hour
- Shift Differential: An additional $1.17 per hour for evening and night shifts
About the Role
We are seeking dedicated and compassionate individuals to provide high-quality care to our residents. As a Certified Nursing Assistant, you will be responsible for observing residents, reporting health issues to the supervising nurse, and assisting with personal hygiene and daily living activities.
Key Responsibilities:
- Observing residents and reporting any health issues to the supervising nurse
- Taking care of residents' personal hygiene, including bed bath, shaving, and other grooming tasks
- Setting up meal trays and documenting food/fluid intake
- Feeding residents and serving nutritional supplements
- Making beds and keeping residents' spaces clean and tidy
- Transporting residents within the facility
- Turning bedridden residents to prevent bedsores
- Maintaining confidentiality of all resident and facility data
Requirements
To be successful in this role, you must be able to work as part of a team, possess current NYS State Certification, and be in good standing with the State Registry.
