Job Description:
">We are seeking highly skilled and dedicated professionals to join our Critical Infrastructure Security Team as a Security Officer for the Port of Tampa Bay.
">About the Role:
">- The successful candidate will be responsible for providing security services to protect life and assets under Homeland Security guidelines.
- They will work in partnership with Local and Federal Law Enforcement, exercising good judgment and reliable decision-making skills.
Responsibilities:

- Maintaining a neat, professional appearance and adhering to grooming standards.
Requirements:
">- In possession of an approved Florida Class "D" license from the DOACS.
- Transportation Worker Identification Credential (T.W.I.C.) holder.
- Ability to provide proof of high school diploma, college degree, or a valid state GED certificate.
- Valid driver's license and clean driving history.
- Minimum one (1) year of work experience in security or supervisory-related positions.
Preferred Skills:
">- Working knowledge of maritime security enforcement guidelines, including MTSA and laws, regulations, and ordinances governing Hillsborough County.
- CPR and First Aid certifications or ability to obtain.
- Prior veteran, military/law enforcement experience is preferred.
