We have an exciting opportunity for an Associate Veterinarian to join our thriving, family-owned, small animal general practice. We are looking for someone who will provide exceptional veterinary care to our beloved patients and actively contribute to the growth and expansion of our practice.

We are currently expanding and remodeling a new location, a state-of-the-art, 12,000 sq ft facility to better serve our growing practice and the needs of our community. We are not a corporate clinic but a locally owned business with a focus on providing high-quality, patient specific veterinary care.
Responsibilities:
- Perform comprehensive physical examinations and diagnostic assessments for small animal patients.
- Develop and implement treatment plans for a wide range of medical conditions tailored to each patient, with complete follow through care.
- Perform routine surgeries including: spays, neuters, dental procedures, mass removals, biopsies, exploratory laparotomies, etc.
- Collaborate with our experienced team to provide the highest standard of patient care, and lead the patient care team.
- Communicate with and educate pet owners regarding preventive care, illness diagnosis and treatment, and overall pet wellness.
- Maintain detailed and accurate medical records and ensure compliance with all veterinary laws and regulations.
Qualifications:
- Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM) degree from an AVMA accredited veterinary school.
- Valid veterinary license in CA.
- Offer high standards of care and modern medicine.
- Practices Fear Free techniques
- Utilizes Multimodal pain relief
- Strengthen human/ animal bond
- Strong surgical skills and experience in dental procedures.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills with various personalities and cultures.
- Passion for delivering compassionate care to pets and their families.
- Ability to work collaboratively within a team environment and ask for/provide help when needed
