What are the responsibilities and job description for the Optometric Technician/Medical Receptionist position at Martinez Eye Associates?
We are looking for an energetic, positive candidate that is well organized and can multi-task in a fast-paced environment. This position is to assist the optometrist with various tasks relating to patients. Our mission is to give patients a unique experience with their eye care professional. Responsibilities and Duties
Conducting diagnostic tests, recording and measuring vision, testing eye function, instructing patients on inserting and caring for contact lenses, preparing examination rooms, cleaning and arranging equipment, answering phones, Scheduling appointments, bookkeeping/verifying insurance, and other tasks as needed. A person with strong organizational, interpersonal, and communication skills that can show compassion to our patients.
