Resource Specialist Teacher 1.0 FTE (M/M) - Martinez Junior High School

The Martinez Unfied School District is seeking a high quality Resource Specialist for a program for students with mild to moderate disabilities. This position is available at Martinez Junior High School. Martinez is a progressive distriict looking for a teacher interested in being part of a quality program which uses the latest techniques and practices to serve students in the least restrictive setting. We are looking for a dynamic, innovative special educator to deliver Resource Instructional Support Services to general and special education students who require instructional interventions and/or remediation. This program ensures that our students' special education and related service needs are met. Students will benefit from the instructional program and make adequate progress in the least restrictive environment. We will accept up to eleven (11) years of verified prior teaching experience and place on step twelve (12) of the teacher salary schedule.
