What are the responsibilities and job description for the Cleaner/Spotter position at Martinizing Cleaners?
The Cleaner/Spotter of an Environmentally Friendly Martinizing Plant is responsible for ensuring the overall production quality and profitability of garment cleaning. We typically look for a person with three (3) years of industry experience, who not only has prior knowledge of running a Dry Cleaning Plant, but is also open minded to seeing the benefits of using the Martinizing program and systems of production.
At Martinizing, a Cleaner/Spotter will daily be responsible for such items as:
· Professional Spotting – including recognizing the type of stain and either pre spotting or post spotting that garment
· Running dry cleaning loads
· Finishing of garments
· Overseeing finishers & pressers to ensure quality work at profitable production levels
· Overall control of work
· Sorting of garments to proper stations throughout Plant
