Job Summary : Supports operators through the efficient, on-time movement of in-process materials, finished goods, components, containers, and other items to and from work cells.Required Education and Experience :
- High school diploma or general education degree (GED) and one to two years of related experience / training, or equivalent combination of education and experience
- Forklift Operator License
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
- Technical ability to operate scan guns
- Must have a good knowledge of the English language
- Knowledge of Customer Specific Requirements
- Knowledge of ISO 9001 / IATF 16949Essential Functions :
- Provides support to operators through efficient, on-time delivery of WIP, containers, and other materials to the work cells
- Monitor scrap dumpsters and dump scrap in designated hoppers
- Remove finished goods containers and transport to correct storage area, and scan accordingly
- Perform maintenance and safety checks on forklifts and other material handling equipment for which the associate is responsible
- Remove WIP containers and move to correct designated location and scan accordingly
- Follow all plant requirements for transport and stacking of containers
- Monitor condition of containers and move damaged containers to container repair area
- Maintain storage container organization in accordance with the plant layout
- Any other duties or responsibilities assigned by the Weld Assembly Supervisor
