Job Type Description
Successful applicant will teach math subjects in grades 6-8, along with other duties and responsibilities assigned.
Salary Schedule
In accordance with Berkeley County Schools Teacher Salary Scale with verified years of experience and degree level. 200 Day employment term.
If a NBCT accepts the position, they will be paid an additional $2000 stipend in addition to their salary, benefits, and NBCT stipend.
Specialized Skills
Required skills and abilities include: minimum of a Bachelor's degree; state education licensure with appropriate content grade level endorsement or the ability to obtain licensure; ability to guide the learning process toward the achievement of curriculum goals; effective classroom management; ability to communicate effectively, both verbally and in writing; and the ability to work as part of a team.
Must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily, and demonstrate the knowledge and ability to be a qualified and effective candidate for the vacancy.
