This position requires a valid Virginia teaching license with an endorsement in Elementary Education.
Key Responsibilities :
- Plan and deliver effective lessons aligned with the Virginia Standards of Learning (SOLs).
- Foster a safe and inclusive classroom environment that promotes respect and collaboration.
- Differentiate instruction to meet the diverse learning needs of students.
- Utilize various teaching methods and technology to enhance student engagement.
- Assess and monitor student progress through formal and informal methods.
- Communicate regularly with students, families, and colleagues regarding student progress and school initiatives.
