RESPONSIBILITIES OF A JOURNEYMAN AUTOMOTIVE BODY TECHNICIAN
The Body Shop Technician will be responsible for repairing damaged bodies of vehicles, and or, parts in accordance with factory and dealership specifications and time standards.
- Prepare and repair vehicle per estimate according to OEM manufacturer specifications.
- De-trim, disassemble and repair vehicle with a sense of urgency and attention to detail.
- Makes unibody and frame pulls to within OEM specification.
- After paint, responsible for reassembly, headlight adjustment and other
- final alignments.
- Accountable for quality control.
- Work as a team player to ensure on-time delivery of vehicles.
QUALIFICATIONS FOR A JOURNEYMAN AUTOMOTIVE BODY TECHNICIAN
- 2 years of auto body repair experience OR Chrysler, Dodge, Jeep, and Ram certification
- Valid driver's license
- Working knowledge about common shop equipment
