As a Credit Manager at MacroSource, reporting to the MacroSource Senior Credit Manager, you will be engaged in the credit evaluation and account receivables management for a diverse portfolio of customers, directly interfacing with the Customer/Vendor Master Data and Cash Application team members. Reporting directly to the Sr. Credit Manager, you will lead a team of Credit Analysts/Specialists, develop strategies to manage credit risk and ensure compliance with company policies. This role requires a strong analytical background, excellent leadership skills, and the ability to collaborate across departments.
Key Responsibilities
Manage a specified team within the Credit Department in the evaluation the creditworthiness of new and existing customers within assigned territories.
Establish and enforce appropriate A/R terms and limits by analyzing customer financial statements, credit applications, references, and industry credit data.
Manage credit and collection risk for an assigned portfolio, adhering to company policy and authority levels.
Resolve complex account inquiries from customers and internal staff; negotiate resolutions and reconcile accounts as needed.
Partner with the customer service teams to optimize the company's invoice management process.
Assist in the drafting and delivery of credit performance reports for senior management as required.
Assist in the coaching, mentoring, and developing Credit Analysts and other team members, ensuring a high-performing and collaborative team environment.
Represent Macrosource and participate in regional, national, and international credit groups.
Participate in special projects as required.
Qualifications & Skills
Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, Accounting, or a related field or equivalent combination of education and experience required.
5 years of experience in credit, banking, financial services, accounts receivable, or a related area.
US National Association of Credit Management (NACM) CBA, CBF or CCE or other Credit industry certification is desired.
Experience in managing International credit risk is desired and use of Credit Risk insurance programs is desired.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, and Outlook); Dow Jones RiskCenter, Dun & Bradstreet Credit Reporting (or similar products), SAP, or a similar ERP system is preferred. Familiarity with the Bectran Credit system (or similar products) is a plus.
Strong expertise in risk analysis, financial statement review, and problem-solving.
Exceptional organizational, interpersonal, and communication skills.
Demonstrated ability to lead and develop a team.
Ability to prioritize tasks and manage time effectively.
A results-driven mindset committed to fostering collaboration and achieving organizational goals.
Bilingual in English and Spanish preferred.

This full-time position is based at our Skidaway Island Corporate Headquarters in Savannah, Georgia, with opportunities for flexible working hours, Monday through Friday. Relocation Assistance is available.
