Organizes and stocks Food display areas per store's layouts, planograms and standardsSetting up and maintaining the condition of the Food DepartmentEnsures Food is handled, stocked, rotate and merchandisedChecks temperature for damage and unacceptable quality, follows established return procedures with immediate supervisorAbility to weigh, price, label, organize and rotate Food products per Marukai' standardsProactively supports any promotional activity within the store and contributes to an effective working environmentBreaking down pallets, separating Food products for sales floor, cooler and / or back room prep areaProcessing and / or wrapping Food productsMaintains a well-organized back stock / cooler areaEnsures that all Food products are in it's right place, so shoppers can find what they need quickly and easilyMaintains good communication with store management, associates and suppliers / vendorsServes as a back-up for the Food Department and in other departments as neededStocking empty shelves and helps customer service department when the line gets very busyMaintaining cleanliness of the store / store upkeepNotifies immediate supervisor of out of stock productsNotifies immediate supervisor of price discrepanciesMust be knowledgeable of merchandise placement and locationMust clean and sanitize work areasCustomer Service :

Perform other tasks that would be instructed by Department Manager or Store Manager around the floor during busy times of the dayPurchasing :
Places order for out-of-stock productsEnsures that inventory is maintained accurately without excessMaintains accurate inventory counts (records)Starting from $18, based on candidate experience
QUALIFICATIONS :
High School Diploma or GED equivalent preferredMust be 18 or older to use sharp knives, use ladders, scaffolds or their substitutes, substitutes above 6 feet in height, and to operate or assist in operating power-driven machinery or equipment.Must be able to use job related equipment such as a stepping ladder and dolliesNo experience required, but a minimum of 1-2 years of work experience in a similar work environment is preferredPrevious experience as a Retail Associate, Stocker, or Bagging Clerk is preferredMust be able to lift up to 20 pounds without aidRequirements
REQUIREMENTS
