Duties
- Maintain accurate inventory records through regular audits and reconciliations.
- Manage supplier relationships to ensure timely delivery of products and materials.
- Utilize analytics tools, including Power BI, to track inventory trends and generate reports.
- Assist in production planning by forecasting inventory needs based on demand.
- Conduct root cause analysis for discrepancies in inventory levels and implement corrective actions.
- Support sourcing initiatives by evaluating suppliers and negotiating contracts as needed.
- Perform heavy lifting and physical tasks related to inventory handling and storage.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to optimize inventory processes within a 3PL environment.
Requirements
- Proven experience in inventory management or related fields is preferred.
- Strong analytical skills with proficiency in data analysis tools such as Power BI.
- Familiarity with supplier management practices and contract negotiation is a plus.
- Ability to perform heavy lifting (up to 50 pounds) safely and efficiently.
- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail are essential for maintaining accurate records.
- Strong communication skills to effectively collaborate with team members and suppliers.
- Knowledge of production planning processes is beneficial but not mandatory.
