The Financial Analyst will assist in overseeing the financial performance of the Company. This position is responsible for helping to manage financial procedures, controls, and reporting systems. This position will also maintain the best accounting practices to ensure accurate and timely financial statements.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

· Partner closely with Controller and General Manager to protect assets to drive financial performance of this organization.
· Owns the month-end close process to include variance analyses to budget & forecast
· Assists in coordinating the annual physical inventory for the division
· Assists with intercompany accounting
· Assists with annual financial audit
· Assist with calculating and remitting sales tax in multiple jurisdictions.
· Assist with calculating monthly commissions
· And hoc duties as assigned

EDUCATION and EXPERIENCE:
· Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting or Finance required. MBA, CMA or CPA (or CPA candidate) a plus.
· 2 years’ experience in financial reporting and analysis, inventory controls, and process improvements.
· Manufacturing and cost accounting experience preferred
· Experience with ERP Systems; Infor/CSI and/or Avalara a plus.
· Familiarity of US GAAP, and SOX
· Detail-oriented with strong communication, analytical and organizational skills.
· Must be proficient in all MS Office programs, with advanced skills in Excel.
PHYSICAL DEMANDS AND WORKING CONDITIONS:
· General office type work. May require prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer.
· Must be able to wear safety equipment including, but not limited to safety glasses, steel-toed shoes, and hearing protection when in manufacturing plants.

Pay: $50,000.00 - $60,000.00 per year
