Now Hiring: Hospital Director of Human Resources – Acute Care | Central North Carolina
Salary Range: $90,000 – $125,000
Sign-On Bonus: Negotiable
Facility Size: 137-bed acute care hospital | 500 employees
We’re partnering with a well-established acute care hospital in Central North Carolina to identify a strong Human Resources Director (HRD) to join the executive leadership team. This is a high-visibility role responsible for leading all HR functions while serving as a strategic partner to the CEO and department leaders.
Position Overview:
The HR Director will lead and direct all human resources initiatives for a 137-bed hospital employing over 500 team members. This includes oversight of employee relations, talent acquisition, performance management, compensation, leadership development, training, policy administration, and compliance. The HRD will manage a team of HR professionals and collaborate closely with the Division HR leadership and hospital CEO.
Key Responsibilities:
- Serve as a strategic HR partner to the CEO and senior leadership team
- Oversee talent acquisition, employee engagement, and retention strategies
- Lead performance management, compensation planning, and workforce development
- Ensure compliance with HR policies and labor regulations
- Provide leadership and support for a team of HR professionals
- Drive organizational initiatives to foster a high-performance, mission-driven culture
Qualifications – Required:
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field
- 1–3 years of HR experience in a hospital or healthcare setting
- 1–2 years of prior supervisory or leadership experience in HR
Preferred Qualifications:
- PHR or SHRM-CP certification
- Master’s degree in HR, Business, or related field
