Maintenance Staff
Shift: 5:00am-3:30pm
Location: Greenville, Michigan
Reports to: Maintenance Lead

Marvel Refrigeration is looking for a Maintenance Staff member (General Maintenance Technician) who is skilled in general maintenance tasks and thrives in a hands-on role with diverse responsibilities

Expected Hours of Work:
These positions are full-time. The general scheduled workdays are Monday through Thursday, plus overtime when required (Friday & Saturday if needed).
Position Overview:
This position requires an experienced, energetic, and detail-oriented individual who enjoys problem-solving and working with their hands. The ideal candidate will perform various maintenance tasks to support operations, including flooring, plumbing, drywall repair, and assembly setup.
Responsibilities:
- Perform flooring installation and maintenance, including buffing and applying epoxy coatings
- Replace ceiling tiles and perform drywall patching
- Assist with setting up assembly lines and assembling test rooms
- Conduct basic plumbing repairs and maintenance
- Maintain and repair various facility components as needed
- Operate power tools and equipment necessary for maintenance tasks
- Ensure compliance with safety and quality procedures
- Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work area
- Perform other duties as assigned
Requirements
Qualifications:
- Basic mathematical computations required to complete production records and to accurately use a tape measure.
- Experience in general maintenance, repair work, or a related field
- Knowledge of flooring installation, epoxy application, and drywall repair
- Basic plumbing experience
- Ability to operate hand tools, power tools, and other maintenance equipment
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and work in various physical positions (standing, bending, lifting, etc.)
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Basic computer knowledge is a plus
- Must pass a pre-employment drug screen and background check
