Job Details
About Marvell
Marvell's semiconductor solutions are the essential building blocks of the data infrastructure that connects our world. Across enterprise, cloud and AI, automotive, and carrier architectures, our innovative technology is enabling new possibilities.
At Marvell, you can affect the arc of individual lives, lift the trajectory of entire industries, and fuel the transformative potential of tomorrow. For those looking to make their mark on purposeful and enduring innovation, above and beyond fleeting trends, Marvell is a place to thrive, learn, and lead.
Your Team, Your Impact
As an Analog IC Design Principal Engineer with Marvell, you'll be a member of the Central Engineering business group. If you picture Marvell as a wheel, Central Engineering is the center hub providing IP to be used by all the other spokes on that wheel, including Automotive, Storage, Security, and Networking. You'll be part of a small analog team making a big impact on this organization. Additionally, Marvell has the perfect size and scale for you to learn several aspects of engineering that will be new to you, but also have the time and freedom to dive deep into the details of your specialization on most projects.
What You Can Expect
Work with multi-functional teams to deliver high-speed transceiver products. Define specifications based on link budget, behavioral modeling, and transistor-level feasibility. Drive schematic design and collaborate on mask design for implementation. Drive designs into volume production and delight customers, with the team. Perform high-speed transceiver architecture design. Choose design solution to meet required target for performance, area, and power. Perform the transistor level design, simulation, and layout floor planning and supervision. Determine whole chip analog design specification, floor plan, and integrate Analog IP into SOC chip. Collaborate with the validation team on bench characterization. Wage $210,000.00 - $250,000.00 per year. Telecommuting is permitted.
What We're Looking For
Master's or foreign equivalent degree in Electrical/Electronic Engineering, Computer Science/Engineering, or a related field and three (3) years of experience in the job offered or related occupation.
Experience must include one (1) year with each of the following:
Analog mixed-signal design with experience in high-speed transceivers.
Designing analog mixed-signal circuit blocks including PLL, phase interpolator, low jitter clock distribution, Bandgap, biasing circuits, LDO regulators, amplifiers, comparators, high-speed DACs and ADCs, Filters.
Analog mixed-signal concepts like mismatch mitigation, linearity, stability, low-power and low-noise techniques.
Tx/Rx equalization techniques and circuits like de-emphasis, CTLE, DFE.
High-speed digital circuits (such as serializer, deserializer, counters, dividers).
Design experience in advanced CMOS technologies, design with FinFet technology.
AMS IC development from definition to high-volume production including layout supervision, bench evaluation, correlation, and characterization.
Lab testing of high-speed transceivers.
Additional Compensation and Benefit Elements
With competitive compensation and great benefits, you will enjoy our workstyle within an environment of shared collaboration, transparency, and inclusivity. We're dedicated to giving our people the tools and resources they need to succeed in doing work that matters, and to grow and develop with us.
