We are seeking a highly skilled Accounting & Contracts Manager to join our team at Marvin Collins Construction. As a key member of our finance department, this individual will be responsible for maintaining the financial integrity of our projects, ensuring accurate financial reporting, and collaborating with the project management team to validate subcontractor and vendor invoices.
The ideal candidate will have a strong background in construction accounting and contracts, as well as excellent analytical and communication skills. This position requires the ability to review detailed financial information, discern discrepancies, and correct inaccuracies. In addition, the successful candidate will possess strong time management and prioritization skills, with the ability to work independently and collaboratively with internal teams and external service providers.
Accounting & Contracts Manager Key Responsibilities:
- Create and maintain project financial reporting, using Sage Contractor accounting software
- Generate and submit monthly owner pay applications
- Validate subcontractor and vendor invoices
- Perform general ledger accounting and maintain WIP (Work in Progress Schedule)
