As an Accounting & Contracts Manager, you will be an integral part of our team, working closely with our project management team to ensure the financial success of our projects.
The ideal candidate will have a strong background in construction accounting and contracts, as well as excellent analytical and communication skills. This position requires the ability to review detailed financial information, discern discrepancies, and correct inaccuracies. In addition, the successful candidate will possess strong time management and prioritization skills, with the ability to work independently and collaboratively with internal teams and external service providers.
Responsibilities:
- Maintain project financial records, including job setup, job costing, and job cost reporting
- Prepare and submit monthly owner pay applications
- Validate subcontractor and vendor invoices
- Perform general ledger accounting and maintain WIP schedules
- Assist preconstruction team with financial information for proposals and prequalifications
