What are the responsibilities and job description for the INVENTORY CLERK III position at Marvin Engineering Comp?
Purpose:
Receiving clerk is to acknowledge and take receipt of all incoming materials and packages, identify receipt in ERP system and identify location.
Job Duties:
- Responsible for receiving product accurately and in a timely manner
- Verify and visually inspect product coming in
- Prepare and package product
- Store product in location
- Shipping and receiving experience
- Understanding FIFO (First In –First Out)
- Understand PQR (Procurement Quality Control)
- Ability to cross check inventory
- Skills in counting materials
- Pull accurate quantities
- Stage orders once completed
- Support year-end inventory
Job Requirements consist of education, skills, training, and competency of Internal Procedures listed and Associated Documents:
1. Maintain awareness and understanding of documents published in the BMS Library, with specific competency of general as well as related field documents.
2. 1 year experience in inventory management ideally for aerospace manufacturing
3. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
4. Ability to make sound decisions independently
5. SAP minimum 1 year experience
6. Hazardous material handling experience/training in a manufacturing environment
7. Experience operating a forklift and cherry picker/high lift
8. Attention to detail
9. Self-Starter
10. Including full knowledge and understanding of the duties completed by Inventory Clerk I & Inventory Clerk II.
Monday - Friday, 6am - 4:30pm
