Yard Associate Role at Marvin's Building Materials
We are seeking reliable and customer-focused Yard Associates to join our team. As a key member of our yard operations, you will play a critical role in ensuring the efficient delivery of merchandise to customers and job sites.
Key Responsibilities:
- Customer Service: Provide exceptional customer service by greeting customers in a friendly manner, answering questions, and resolving issues in a professional and courteous way.
- Inventory Maintenance: Operate forklifts, warehouse lifts, pallet jacks, or other equipment to move products around the store and prepare materials for delivery.
- Loading and Unloading: Load materials into customers' vehicles or on company delivery vehicles, while ensuring accurate quantities and quality control.
- Safety and Loss Prevention: Possess knowledge of store security measures, ensure equipment is in good condition, and participate in regular safety meetings.
We are looking for candidates with strong communication skills, basic math abilities, and the ability to lift up to 100 lbs. and work in a fast-paced environment.
