A teacher is responsible for educating and nurturing students in grades K-12. The primary duties include developing and implementing engaging lesson plans that align with state / district curriculum standards, creating a safe and positive learning environment, assessing student progress, and collaborating with parents and school staff.
Key Responsibilities :
Plan and deliver standards-based lessons in core subjects such as reading, writing, math, science, and social studies - Customize instruction to meet the diverse learning needs, abilities, and interests of students - Maintain an organized, clean, and stimulating classroom environment - Assess student learning through tests, projects, and other evaluation methods - Provide constructive feedback to students and parents about academic progress - Collaborate with other teachers, specialists, and administrators to coordinate curriculum - Monitor and report on student attendance, behavior, and other developmental areas - Participate in professional development opportunities to continuously improve teaching practices - Maintain positive relationships with students, parents, and the school community
Qualifications :
Bachelor's degree in Education or a related field - Valid state teaching certification or license for elementary education - 1-3 years of experience teaching at the elementary level (preferred) - Strong verbal and written communication skills - Ability to use educational technology and digital resources - Patient, creative, and dedicated to student growth and success If you are an enthusiastic, organized, and student-centered individual, we encourage you to apply for this rewarding elementary school teacher position.
