Business Development Manager Summary
The business development manager will be responsible for growing existing businesses and finding relevant new opportunities. This role will be responsible for following up with leads, establishing relationships with potential clients, and researching potential accounts within their targeted markets. The business development manager will promote the company's products while addressing / predicting clients' current and future business needs.
Business Development Manager Responsibilities
- Develop a synergies strategy that supports the businesses growth objectives.
- Generate leads and opportunities to create demand
- Assessing the company's target market and industry and developing strategies to gain new clients
- Promote the company's products / services addressing or predicting clients' objectives
- Arrange business meetings with prospective clients
- Working closely with existing sales teams to grow sales of underpenetrated products in all markets
- Monitor and evaluate activities, services, and products of the competition
- Preparing sales presentation and participating in sales meetings
- Provide trustworthy feedback and after-sales support
- Build long-term relationships with new and existing customers
- Build and maintain an AIA continuing education program
- Provide reports for management
