Position Summary
The Unit Resource Assistant is an ideal opportunity in supporting department-wide comprehensive patient health care. Working in collaboration with the nursing staff, you will be engaged in a dynamic range of work responsibilities and functions, ensuring the efficient management of the unit and the best possible health care outcomes.Responsibilities
- You will support the units with proper setup, standardized equipment and supplies
- You will thoroughly clean, maintain, and store all equipment
- You will apply discretion, good judgment, and a professional manner to all work experiences
- You will regularly utilize independent decision-making capacities and strong interpersonal skills
- You will transport specimens to the lab and retrieve blood products from Transfusion Services
Requirements
- High school graduate or equivalent preferred
- Recent experience in a health care environment
- Certification as a nurse assistant preferred

Pay and Benefit Expectations
We provide a comprehensive benefits package, including competitive salary, medical, dental and retirement benefits and paid time off. As required by various pay transparency laws, we share a competitive range of compensation for candidates hired into each position. The pay scale is $18.82 - $28.62 USD. However, pay is influenced by factors specific to applicants, including but not limited to: skill set, level of experience, and certification(s) and/or education.
