Job Responsibilities
Under general supervision, performs nonprofessional work assisting the pharmacist in routine duties of the pharmacy. Performs some professional work under direct supervision of a pharmacist. Performs related work as required. Ensures all actions taken in carrying out responsibilities support patient centered care.
Required Qualifications
- Within 1st year of hire, will obtain:
- National certification by the Iowa Board of Pharmacy.
- Certified Pharmacy Technician (CPhT) certification through either the Pharmacy Technician Certification Board (PTCB) or the National HealthCareer Association (NHA).
Preferred Qualifications
- One year of non-professional pharmacy experience
- Highschool diploma or GED
