COA or COT Certification.
Searching for energetic COA or COT to join our eye care team! We are offering an opportunity for someone to have a career in a fast-paced medical office in the heart of the Hill Country. If you have the required experience but are not certified as a Ophthalmic Assistant, we will help you achieve this. Certification is required and must be completed by 15 months of the employee's hire date. Some job duties and skill requirements include (but not limited to): working up patients for the physicians, taking down patient's medical history and medications, administering testing on patients (IOL measurements, retinal imaging, fundus photos, visual field testing, manifest refractions and tonometry by applanation), knowledge of ophthalmology terminology and HIPAA.
