Description
Job Summary -
Assist with patient care based on the individual patient needs. Performs duties in the Emergency Department within the scope of practice and under direct supervision of the registered nurse and/or physician. Primary job functions of Med Reconciliation and Customer Service Attendant.
Regulatory Requirements -
- Must have current BLS certification through the American Heart Association.
- CNA required or prior Patient Care Technician experience. STNA or PCT Preferred
- High school graduate or equivalent required (GED)
Language Skills
- Ability to communicate in English, both verbally and in writing.
- Additional languages preferred.
- Excellent interpersonal skills.
Skills
- Previous experience with an EMR system is preferred
