Description
Job Summary -
To assist the Providers in the day-to-day activities of the office in accordance with current Federal, State, and local standards, guidelines, and regulations that govern the office. To ensure that the highest degree of quality care is maintained at all times within the scope of licensure.
Regulatory Requirements
- Medical Assistant certification is preferred.
- Current BLS certification through the American Heart Association required.
- MA Certification, education, or previous clinical experience as an MA in a clinical setting required.
Language Skills
- Ability to communicate in English, both verbally and in writing.
- Additional languages preferred.
- Excellent interpersonal skills.
Skills
- Previous experience with an EMR system is preferred.
- Must be able to draw blood as part of daily job duties.
