Job Details
Provides direct and indirect patient care.
Communicates with physicians, nurse managers, co-workers, as appropriate related to changes in patient's clinical condition including diagnostic study results and symptomatology.
Responds quickly and accurately to changes in condition or response to treatment.
Performs general nursing duties.
Assumes responsibility for unit patient populations.
Adheres to the service excellence standards established for Mary Rutan Hospital.
Completes thorough patient assessments.
Demonstrates effective communication skills necessary to interact efficiently with all customers.
Works independently and demonstrates ability to delegate appropriately.
Effectively functions in unexpected crisis in a calm, confident manner.
Willing to adjust schedule to meet unit needs, float to and work in other areas as assigned and accept low census as needed.
Works required weekends and holidays.
Adheres to all staffing and personnel policies.
Keeps all required licensures and certifications current.
Job Requirements
1 year Emergency Department, ICU and Med Surg experience - Required
If COVID vaccinated, provide vaccination card - Required
