Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Banquet Server to join our team. The ideal candidate will play a vital role in delivering exceptional service during events and functions, ensuring that guests have a memorable experience. Duties
- Set up banquet rooms according to event specifications, including table arrangements and decorations.
- Serve food and beverages to guests in a timely and professional manner.
- Assist with the preparation of food service areas, including coffee stations and buffet lines.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of dining areas throughout events.
- Provide excellent guest relations by addressing any questions or concerns promptly.
- Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure smooth service flow and timely meal delivery.
- Follow all food safety guidelines to ensure the health and safety of guests.
- Assist in bussing tables and clearing dishes after events conclude.
- Support bartending staff as needed during events, including serving drinks and managing bar supplies.
Qualifications
- Previous experience in food service or catering is preferred but not required.
- Strong customer service skills with a focus on guest satisfaction.
- Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment.
- Knowledge of food safety practices is an asset.
- Excellent communication skills for effective guest interactions.
- Flexibility to work various shifts, including evenings and weekends as required by event schedules.
