About the Role:
In this role, you will be responsible for providing direct patient care to patients with complex medical conditions, including trauma patients, stroke victims, and those requiring continuous BiPap and HFNC therapy. You will also contribute to a positive and supportive work environment by communicating effectively with patients, families, and healthcare team members.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide direct patient care to patients with complex medical conditions, including trauma patients, stroke victims, and those requiring continuous BiPap and HFNC therapy.
- Care for patients undergoing surgical procedures, including craniotomy and abdominal surgeries.
- Manage patient medications, including insulin gtt and cardiac drips titration.
- Monitor patient vital signs and report any changes to the physician or other healthcare team members.
- Develop and implement individualized care plans that meet the unique needs of each patient.
Requirements:
- Current RN licensure in the state of Virginia.
- At least 1 year of experience as a Registered Nurse in a hospital setting.
- Strong neuro skills and experience in caring for patients with complex medical conditions.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment and prioritize tasks efficiently.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
