Outpatient Counselor Job Description
Maryhaven is a non-profit organization driven by the mission of providing quality behavioral services to its customers. We are seeking skilled and compassionate individuals to join our team as Outpatient Counselors.
The ideal candidate will possess a Bachelor's degree in Human Services or Behavioral Science, with two years of experience in chemical dependence or mental health treatment. A Master's degree is preferred. The candidate must also hold a valid State of Ohio LPC, LPCC, LSW, or LISW license.
We offer a competitive salary commensurate with experience, ranging from $52,000 to $70,000 per year. As an Outpatient Counselor, you will work under the direction of a Site Supervisor to provide substance use and mental health counseling, case management, and treatment planning for clients referred to Maryhaven for treatment.
- Provide individual and group counseling sessions to clients with substance use and mental health disorders.
- Develop and implement treatment plans tailored to each client's needs.
- Conduct regular progress assessments and make necessary adjustments to treatment plans.
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive care.
