What are the responsibilities and job description for the Production Line Supervisor position at Maryhaven?
Job Summary:
Responsible for the instruction and training of individuals in packaging and assembly skills in accordance with regulations.
Essential Functions:
1. Maintains supervision of individuals in workshop.
2. Instructs individual on how to perform work assignments.
3. Distributes to and collects work form individual (i.e. raw goods and finished product).
4. Communicates with counselors regarding individual issues (i.e. behaviors and job performance, etc.).
5. Maintains quality standards.
6. Records work on scan cards for payroll on a daily basis.
7. Meets with Production Director on a daily basis to review production requirements.
Education and Qualifications:
1. High School diploma or equivalent required.
2. One (1) to two (2) years experience with the mentally and/or physically challenged population preferred.
3. Valid NYS driver’s license preferred.
Job Type: Full-time
