And lastly, the team at Maryhurst Renewal partners with children, adults and families who are hurting to find the right combination of support, ultimately clearing barriers to success at home, at school, and in the community. Renewal provides one-on-one, group and family counseling in office, home or school-based settings.
The Health Services Associate helps facilitate services that enhance the clients’ self-esteem and personal well-being by ensuring that their health needs are met. Primary responsibilities include scheduling appointments, providing transportation, supervision, and support during medical appointments. The Health Services associate also supports the team with data entry and maintenance of the medical file.
Essential Duties:
- Ensures that licensing requirements are being met through the timely scheduling of physicals, dental, and vision visits
- Provide transportation, supervision, and support to clients for medical appointments and hospitalization. Appropriately relay pertinent information to community and agency personnel related to medical visits. Maintains confidentiality of clients and agency
- Administers hearing and vision tests to new clients and follow-up exams annually, per licensing regulations
Requirements
The applicant must possess a valid driver's license. High School diploma or GED equivalent. A minimum of 1-year experience in a treatment-oriented childcare facility preferred Must be very detail oriented, very organized, able to work in unsupervised situation, have good judgment and communication skills and must be able to work directly with the clients. Must be at least 21 years of age and have a valid Driver's License.
