MCVRC seeks a highly skilled, innovative visionary professional to provide day-to-day administrative and secretarial support to the organization and support services to Maryland crime victims and victim representatives and manage referrals to our mental health counseling contractor.
Primary Duties and Essential Functions
- Coordinates with victim service agencies statewide through community collaboration
- Coordinates intra-agency services with MCVRC legal and clinical staff.
- Manages referrals to our mental health counseling contractor, monitors contracts and provides monthly reports
- Coordinate with Executive Director and Deputy Director to maintain calendars and set up meetings including zoom invites and other necessary support.
- Collaborates with MCVRC attorneys to address the legal needs of each client.
- Coordinate with Director of Legal Services to ensure case assignments are covered in case of emergency.
- Coordinate with Director of Victim Services to ensure client issues and cases are covered.
- Accurate record keeping and data entry
- Assists in event planning with all MCVRC events relating to victims’ rights and services.
- Assists in maintaining a case management system by ensuring accurate record keeping and data entry of assigned client’s cases and files.
- Assists with grant reporting by ensuring accuracy of data.
- Represents MCVRC at meetings and events, conducting presentations as needed.
- Provides outreach on behalf of MCVRC.
- Process incoming & outgoing correspondence on a daily basis
- Supports agency mission.
- Other duties as assigned.

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration or related field preferred. In lieu of degree, 5 years relevant work experience.
- Strong English-language skills, including writing, grammar and spelling.
- 1-year experience with victim services preferred
- 1-year experience in law office preferred
- Reliable transportation
- Strong knowledge with Microsoft Office Programs required
- Able to work in office every day of the week
