Broadcast Traffic Coordinator (Full-Time)

Immediate opening for a full-time Broadcast Traffic Coordinator. Candidate should be a self-starter, have excellent communication and organizational skills, be proficient in Microsoft Office, be efficient in time management and task prioritization, and be detail-oriented with a high degree of accuracy. Candidate must be able to multi-task, work well under pressure, meet daily deadlines, and work well with others. Priority given to those with experience with the WideOrbit Traffic System.
Duties and Responsibilities
- Maintain and update WideOrbit Traffic System
- Prepare daily program and commercial traffic logs
- Compile necessary critical data for Master Control including format sheets, satellite information, and other data as necessary
- Enter facilities instructions and assign media cart numbers for National and Regional advertiser schedules
- Enter facilities instructions and assign media cart numbers for all station promotion and PSA schedules and announcements
- Daily log reconciliations
- Regularly purge outdated / expired carts and facilities
- Regularly update program information
- Daily monitoring of network affiliate sites for updated network information
- Prepare and publish weekly program schedules to program guide services and internal departments, or supervise this function if assigned to Traffic Assistant
- Prepare and file quarterly FCC Children’s Program Reports, quarterly cable reports, Nielsen Listing Reports, and other reports as necessary
Compensation
Pay Range : $32,000-$35,000
