Representatives of the Department of Public Safety and Correctional Services (DPSCS) will be at Wor-Wic Community College, Brunkhorst Hall, located at 32000 Campus Drive, Salisbury, MD 21804, on the following dates.

The minimum qualifications for this position include a High School Diploma or GED; must be at least 21 years of age (able to apply at 20 years and 6 months); US Citizenship or Resident Alien Status; and complete background requirements. _ No experience required.
Salary: From $53,110 per year
Sign On & Regional Bonus: Up to $7,500
HIRING INCENTIVES:
Newly hired Correctional Officers will receive a $5,000 incentive – $2,000 after successfully completing their training at a Maryland Police and Correctional Training Academy and $3,000 after successfully completing their probationary period. A regional hiring bonus of $2,500 is available for applicants who select the Eastern Shore, Hagerstown, or Cumberland facilities.
