PATIENT CARE COORDINATOR
Positive and pleasant individual who demonstrates adaptability and is willing and able to adjust to multiple demands, shifting priorities. The Patient Care Coordinator will be mainly located at our Union Memorial practice and travel to Lutherville location as needed. This is a full-time position operating Monday-Friday 8AM-5PM. salary range is $18-$20 / hr.
PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Greet visitors and patients in a courteous and professional manner
- Check-In, verify patient information and alert clinical staff of patient arrival
- Check-Out patients on their departure and schedule any follow up visit
- Collect any co-pay / patient pay and maintain an accurate cash log
- Answer, screen, rout and respond to phone and voice mail queries
- Send medical records requested by attorneys, medical offices, or for disability
- Scan medical office documents and label appropriately
- Insurance verification
- Maintain lobby area in a neat and orderly fashion
- Other duties as assigned
