What are the responsibilities and job description for the Geographic Information Systems (GIS) Program Lead position at Maryland Environmental Service?
**Requirements**
To be considered for this role, you must have a bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university in engineering, geography, GIS technology, environmental science, cartography, computer science, project management, business/finance, or a related field. You must also have at least 8 years of applicable experience in engineering, GIS, or environmental site assessment and remediation.
Five years of this experience must have included managing environmental, GIS, or engineering projects and/or supervising technical multi-disciplinary environmental, engineering, or GIS staff. An applicable advanced education degree may be substituted for up to two years of experience.
